Delaware Speedway To Host Nascar Sprint Cup Stars;
Kyle Busch, David Reutimann And Regan Smith

The first annual Delaware Summer Showdown presented by Auto Parts Centres will take place the evening of Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Delaware Speedway, near London, Ontario. This event will feature NASCAR Sprint Cup Stars, Kyle Busch, David Reutimann and Regan Smith competing against the best drivers from Delaware Speedway’s weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.

APC has been named the title sponsor for this unique event and we are very proud to have David Reutimann driving The Total Lubricants, APC Late Model.

Retirement Announcements

After 52 years in the industry Bob Jones will retire on June 4, 2010.
Bob Jones opened his small Battery Supply shop in 1958. He opened Silverline Motor Products in 1965 and he now retires as Chairman of Canusa Automotive Warehousing Inc. The current warehouse covers over 80,000 square feet of floor space and services over 35 APC stores across Ontario.

Canusa Distribution Centres (CDC), would like to announce the retirement of General Manager, Roger Williams. Roger and his wife Rose will be relocating to Nova Scotia. Roger, not one to slow down, will be pursuing business interests in the Maritimes. Over the last 3½ years, Roger has made a significant impact on the sales and growth of CDC and has established CDC as a major automotive parts distributor in the Brampton-Mississauga markets. Roger will be missed by staff and senior management of Canusa. We wish him good luck and success in his future endeavors.

Canusa Distribution Centres (CDC) would like to announce the appointment of Scott Brooks to the position of General Manager effective May 17, 2010. Scott brings to CDC a wealth of experience and knowledge of automotive parts distribution with previous senior executive positions with Uni-Select, Cancore Industries and Central Precision (Delco Remy).
