APC Online Ordering

Over the next several months Canusa, APC, and CDC will be converting our customers to the WIP online ordering system. We feel the WIP program (through WHI solutions) has the most comprehensive online ordering package in the industry, servicing over 150,000 active users. WIP offers a wide variety of tools that will allow us to offer some of the most advanced connectivity tools in the industry.

It is our goal to make our online ordering process as advanced and interactive as possible. We will now be able to provide links to the top shop management systems which will streamline the ordering process. To see a list of participating shop management suppliers visit www.whisolutions.com. We are also in the process of building an interactive database for non-catalogued automotive parts such as chemicals, gloves, oil and etc. This component will also allow us to better promote hard to find parts and feature items from our monthly flyers.

SKF Hub Bearing Rotation

Rough or hard rotating hub bearings
Over recent years there have been concerns about new hub bearings being rough or hard to rotate out of the box. Many technicians will inspect a new replacement hub bearing visually and by rotating the assembly once or twice by hand.
During this process it is not abnormal to feel a roughness or grittiness as the two halves rotate. This condition is not an indication of a defective bearing; these hub units should not be returned as suspected defective parts. For more information click here download the tech tip.
